•( The image (2) above, shows how Aspirin is beneficial for preventing heart attacks. It also shows the role that Aspirin plays in order to prevent heart attacks. This picture is provided from medmovie medical illustration, http://medmovie.com/library_id/3255/topic/ahaw_0240i/)

The formation of aspirin includes the mixing of salicylic acid with acetic anhydride, a small amount of catalyst which speeds up the reaction is used to produce Aspirin.

The benefits of Aspirin includes:

- Lower risk of heart attack: Aspirin works to keep one's blood cells from clumping (clotting) together. These clots can block blood vessels in the heart and the brain. As a result, nutrients and oxygen can't reach the heart or the brain.

- Aspirin links to cancer prevention including breast cancer: A study showed that Aspirin slows the growth and spread of cancer cells and shrank tumors in mice.

- Lower risk of Alzheimer's by as much as 55 percent. ( Because aspirin decreases inflammations in the area of the brain.)

- Aspirin can encourage a healthy pregnancy for women who experienced Pre eclampsia.

Aspirin has many uses in the medical field, this includes:

-Treatment of coronary artery disease.

-Treatment of pericarditis (inflammation of the pericardium.)

-Treatment of myocardial infarction.

Economical benefits of aspirin includes:

- In a population of 1 million patients, Aspirin could minimize up to 1273 myocardial infarctions, 2184 angina episodes, 565 ischemic strokes in primary prevention patients, an additional 578 myocardial infarctions, and 607 ischemic strokes in secondary prevention patients. This represents a total savings of $79.6 million for primary prevention and $32.2 million for secondary. As a conclusion Aspirin is able to save money and reduce the use of radiology, radiography and radiotherapy resources.

The risks of Aspirin includes:

- Common side effects include, decreased hearing, ringing in the ear, vomiting or nausea.

- It's able to cause bleeding in the stomach and intestines if used as long term.

- can cause asthma attacks.

-Increases nutritional needs for iron and vitamin C.

Disposal risks of Aspirin:

The most used disposal way for Aspirin is by flushing it in the toilet, however, recent studies show that medicines that are disposed in sewer and septic systems might be found in very small amounts in the environment. This means, higher risks for animals to be poisoned.

Environmental risks of Aspirin:

Each year industries make about 100+ billion Aspirin doses, this shows how the amount of resources and trees cut is vast . The creation of Aspirin, requires energy and releases pollution..
